Because Congress meddles in business, through taxation, regulation, business lobbies, donates money as a cost of doing business. It is just “protection money”, like the Mafia collects, just to stay in business. Dont expect business not to do what it must to survive. How about expecting Congress not to extort?

Heroin actually is pretty effective as a pain killer, and science has cetainly opened up what it actually can and cant do. As for chalk water, that would be fraudulent, and, fraud is actually a crime. Crime can be remedied in a criminal, and civil court. without regulations at all. Law is necessary, of course.

Your point is, people can NOT afford the price of health care ( insurance costs, and/ or care costs). I tend to agree, to a point. So, REDUCING the cost of health care is necessary, I agree. The bill is for 6 years of healthcare for 10 years of taxes, and saves only a tiny bit with this fraudulent accounting. It will cost more, not less, and less is what you and I want. This bill raises costs.

buy insurance that they wont sell to you because you have a pre-existing condition?
buy insurance when your income barely covers food,rent and utilities?
buy insurance and they STILL find a way not to cover you when you get sick?
