Fox News Speaks for Majority on Health Care Reform?

OVER 100 MORE examples of Fox News Bias at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

Earlier this month, when Jon Stewart and “The Daily Show” totally decimated the credibility of Fox News in general and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly specifically because of the way that the supposed straight news anchors on Fox News like Megyn Kelly keep aggressively opposing health care reform under the guise of speaking for the majority of the American people, I thought it might make Megyn Kelly and the other Fox News anchors a little more circumspect on the subject, but, this week, despite that drubbing from “The Daily Show,” Megyn Kelly continued using questionable poll numbers to pretend to speak for the majority of Americans as I show in this video.

The clips of “The Daily Show” that I use in this video come from the segment broadcast on Comedy Central on March 3, 2010, which is available online at http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-march-3-2010/anchor-management

The clips I use of Megyn Kelly and Bernard Whitman come from a segment on the Fox News program “America Live” broadcast on March 16, 2010 (that I have not been able to find online).

The clip I use of Megyn Kelly misreading a poll about the American Dream comes from a segment on that same program which is available online at http://media2.foxnews.com/031610/031610_al_cain_FNC_031610_14-17_FNC_MED.mp4

The graphic I use of from RealClearPolitics showing a variety of poll results regarding the health care legislation from President Obama and the Democrats comes from the page available online at http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html#polls

The graphic I use of from Gallup showing a variety of poll results regarding the health care legislation from President Obama and the Democrats comes from the page available online at http://www.gallup.com/poll/126521/Favor-Oppose-Obama-Healthcare-Plan.aspx

And, finally, the graphic I use from Xavier University showing a poll result regarding the difficulty of reaching the American Dream comes from the page available online at http://www.xavier.edu/politics/documents/American-Dream-Presentation.pdf

I hate FOX News and …
I hate FOX News and the Republicans as much as anyone but LiberalViewer is just the biggest hypocrite out of anybody. He blast Republicans and FOX News saying that they have no credibility when he is just a lobbyist for Obama and the liberal community. Hey LiberalViewer, go back to Russia.

  2. Tell me where to …
Tell me where to get real news… You want to knock Ms. Kelly but the jokers on NBC and CNN are just as bad. There is the News Hour with Jim L on public television and BBC. Anywhere else, the anchor has what they should never have…an opinion. News has become entertainment and politics a football game.

    @TV843

I live in England & I watched a docomentry called Inside Britians Israel lobby & it seems that all of our top politicians are firends with High poeple in the israel / jewish comunity & the people who lobby for them in parliment have more of a say than we do & it seems our politicians are doing more for israel than they do for us.

I think the documentry that I watched is on youtube if you type it in

  4. @cheeckybutnice …
@cheeckybutnice Unfortunately, our govt doesn’t have the balls to corner Israel. If we could set aside the military industrial complex for five minutes, refuse to sell Israel arms for 1-5 years, they’d stop building housing in disputed areas and we’d actually see real potential for peace with the Palestinians. Instead, Israel refuses to compromise, does what it wants and we stand back, complain, and do nothing about it.

  5. About half the the …
About half the the polled people did not support the health care bill because it didn’t go FAR ENOUGH. Throw in the public option, or simply pass a bill where everybody can buy into Medicare, and you’ll get an overwhelming majority in favor of health care reform.

Dem Lobbying Firm Hits the Jackpot in the Obama-Pelosi Healthcare Casino
Special Deals for Firms Clients Now the Law of the LandThe clients of Democrat lobbying firm The Raben Group made out so well in the Democrats government takeover of healthcare bill law that the firm decided it needed to brag about it. The Raben Group took a victory lap in an email sent to their clients including a long list of special deals? they scored for their clients.

Pretty much says it all for me.

    most people i know …
most people i know approved until the Gop insisted on removing the public option. there are many not for profit government owned and run corporations. so now the private insurance companies will reap all the rewards.

  8. Megan Kelly is a …
Megan Kelly is a joke and a liar. I hope her parents are proud. I hope when she looks in the mirror in morning she’s proud of what her life has become. Good going. Your life is one big lie. Eat some Cheerios, have lunch with friends, buy some shoes, just remember you’re living a dirty, fake life. Congrats. Enjoy Avatar.

  9. Fox News has been …
Fox News has been caught time and time again misrepresenting thier polls. 73% of respondents in a Fox Poll were asked. Are you pleased the process congress is taking regarding health care reform? 73% said no, but Fox then reports that 73% are against HC reform.

All of this guys vids I’ve seen seem to all be toward the idea of social advancement. Anyway they all have an interesting theme. I’m only thirteen and my parents were all like WTF wen I just posted this. They are unaware of the dumbasses they watch on tv

  11. So that explains …
So that explains why FOX new is getting higher ratings than all of the other major networks put together. Americans are just too “dumb” to understand research and interperet main stream media for themselves. Sir your arguments are weak and by design just another attempt to smear the voice of the silent majority. What happened to divided we fall, united we stand? You are part of the problem!

  12. winterstellar Says:

    Why the would …
Why the would you want conservatism anyway? Given the up state of so many things now, what good is there to conserve? Humans need to progress/develop things, not cling on to old crap. If everybody had been conservatives/reactionarys, we’d still be living in caves.

  13. @newcastle1919 …
@newcastle1919 Because many Americans hear what they want to hear. Fox panders to a very specific demographic. The conservative, uneducated, biased group.

That Fox is still on the air proves the level of blind and willful ignorance that exists in many parts of the American landscape. Too bad really.

  14. newcastle1919 Says:

    Great video.
But a question remains. If fox news is this bad at reporting the news and facts, why are they still on the tv?

i luv megan kelly!! but her views dont match the facts…
but yeh i would luv to debate wit her in bed!!

  17. These latest quotes …
These latest quotes of polls are ridiculous to me. Originally, most people were for the public options among other things and don’t tell me they oppose regulating insurance and drug companies. However, the DEMS did not stand strong on some principals of universal HC and the bill was adjusted so many times to accomodate REPS demands that it turned out quite crappy eventhough there is some good in it…not mentioning the lies about it. Not surprising that most people are not happy with it now.

  18. “Republicans …
“Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us, and now we are discovering we work for Fox.”

    mjthomas43 I mostly …
mjthomas43 I mostly agree with you. Coke can send out all the repetitions they want. That is the joy of the free market. However, I don’t purchase coke and no amount of repetitions are going to get me to do otherwise. No one is forcing me to buy Coke (yet) but the Gov is now going to force me to buy Health Care. Gov has rushed the final version of the Law, and as time goes on, no amount of repetition of the same hollow words are going to fix all the omissions and problems.
